Originally known as Summer Express, the company was started by two educators who took a group of high school seniors from Fort Worth, Texas on a bus tour all over Mexico—only to return and vow never to organize another bus tour again!
We expanded to serve multiple schools and college spring break trips, leading to a rebrand as Holiday Express. Through the 1990s, our operations grew under Student Travel America, LLC, managing group travel and large-scale bookings.
Holiday Express, Inc. took a major step, handling air travel for wholesale student tour operators, starting with 1,400 passengers (PAX). Today, operating under Student Travel America, LLC, Holiday Express, Inc., and HEI Group Air Planners, we manage bulk airfare for over 20,000 annual travelers, specializing in large group seat allocations for tour operators, student travel programs, and corporate events.
